Thermo Auricular Therapy is a pleasant and non-evasive treatment of the ears.

A natural ear cleansing technique that is simple and a safe method of removing excess wax, infections and residuals pf past ear infections. The ear candle induces a revitalising heat upon the head and ears which soothes and relaxes.

Although ear candling is said to work for Sinusitis, Otitis, impacted ear wax etc - its aim is also to improve the flow of energy to the ear. When the bodies energy is circulating properly all is well - but we live in a polluted environment, often have stressful lives and eat foods that have been treated with chemicals that are often full of sugar, fat or salt. With all these factors helping to deplete body energy which causes us to fall ill.

By stimulating the acupressure points and the localised lymph system and once these systems function properly, the production of cerumen (ear wax) is controlled and the energy flow normalised.

Ear handling is a technique that dates back as far as Biblical  times when hallow reeds from swamp areas were used as candles.

Ear candling has been passed down for many generations by the American Hopi Indians of Arizona - as well as Egyptians, African, Chinese, Tibetans and Aztecs.

Contra indications for Hopi Ear Candling -although anyone can be treated with Hopi Ear Candles there are cases where Hopi should not be used. These are called contra-indications.

The contra-indications for Hopi Ear candling are -

Infection or inflammation of the ear
Surgery on the ear within the last 3 months
Perforation of the ear drum
Auricular cysts
Grommets, drains or ventilation tubes fitted
Known allergy to bees wax/stings.

Providing you have none of these existing conditions Hopi Ear Candling should  be a perfectly safe treatment for you to have. The number of Hopi treatments that may be needed to cure a problem depends on a number of factors. The age of the person, the length of time they have had the condition and what condition the person is suffering from.

The older the person and the longer they have had the condition the more treatments that will be needed before there is a noticeable improvement, and some conditions are much more treatable than others,  therefore fewer treatments are needed for positive results to be achieved .
There are some guidelines that can be followed with regard to the number of Hopi treatments a person can have to achieve positive results.
